The Laramie Animal Shelter Foundation was founded to assist the work of the Laramie Animal Shelter in promoting responsible pet ownership.
The LASF strives to accomplish this through spay and neuter programs, animal cruelty prevention, and providing and overseeing medical care for rescued and sheltered animals. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation participates in educational programs, public outreach, enhancement of facilities and financial support.
The Foundation began in 1998 through a bequest from a local animal advocate. Since that time, the Foundation has expanded its scope beyond a simple spay and neuter fund with the goal of seeing an expanded Laramie Animal Shelter in the near future!
